The concept behind this logo design was to maintain a fresh & clean (almost healthy) look to it. I accomplished this by using two different, yet similar font styles and stacked them on top of each other, symbolizing strength & good health. The color selection was chosen by the client, they wanted something bright & tropical. After several different layouts of finding ways to incorporate a piece of fruit, from an apple, orange, grapefruit or lime, the client decided it worked best using the “O” as a fruit. The color choice for the “O” was done purposely so there isn’t a standard fruit that color.

Logo development for Easter Spirits as well as a label designs for their blueberry and strawberry flavored honey wine. The honey bee used throughout the identity development started as the sketch concept. Then developed further into the watercolor painting (shown below) which was then rendered using Adobe illustrator. The labels were created using a watercolor painting of honeycombs in the background, and illustrated fruit to accompany the Easter Spirits Logo.
Jeremy Shenk, a jack of all trades (web designer / developer, photographer and designer), gave his stamp of approval on his logo design. With organic movement of the blue jay beside the crisp font, this logo is ready for print and promotion.
